The medical supplies included 20 ventilators and nine ambulances, contributing to controlling the spread of the epidemic and promoting the treatment of patients.
At the conference, agencies, organisations, enterprises and donors also donated money and necessities (including rice, instant noodles, vegetables, tubers and fruit worth billions of Vietnamese dongs.
Appreciating the noble deeds, President of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong expressed her hope that units, enterprises and donors to continue to accompany with the city in its fight against COVID-19.

* On August 19, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) said that Vinacomin has donated VND300 million to Bach Mai Hospital in service of its COVID-19 prevention and control.
Before thatis, the group had granted VND200 billion to COVID-19 Vaccine Fund.
* On the same day, the Trade Union of the educational sector, in collaboration with the Hanoi municipal Department of Education held “zero-dong buses” to transport donations to 11 schools and units in order to support 200 officials, teachers and staff living in difficult circumstances due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
