This was a test flight to prepare for the opening of a direct route from Ca Mau to Hanoi at the end of April. Ca Mau airport is quite small in size, spanning only 1500 metres in length, the shortest among Vietnam’s commercial airports.
The Embraer was chosen for the flight. The plane also successfully passed the hypothetical scenario of harsh weather conditions, which forced the plane to do a holding pattern before landing.
From April 29, Bamboo Airways will officially operate the Hanoi-Ca Mau Route with a frequency of three round-trip flights per week.
