A representative of the Noi Bai International Airport said that the number of passengers continued rising, hitting a new record of 102,000 on June 24, over 104,000 on June 25, and could reach up to 110,000 daily in early July.
The representative said that they're receiving an increase of 40 percent more passengers on domestic flights compared to the same period in 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic and that the number had surpassed the capacity of Terminal 1.
To ease congestion at the airport, Noi Bai authorities have advised passengers to use public means of transport to or from the airport.
