Vice Chairwoman Vu Thu Ha said to achieve the targets, the city will focus on ensuring social welfare, developing the labour market, and strengthening the workforce.

At the same time, efforts will be made to promote economic growth, improve the quality of human resources, and raise the efficiency of job-creation loan programmes funded by the city budget through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP)’s Hanoi branch, the official added.

A total of 255 job fairs are planned throughout the year, aiming to create 50,600 job opportunities, including 4,600 positions overseas.

The People's Committee has asked the Department of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs to take measures to boost the labour market, create jobs, and continue sending workers abroad.
