VTV.vn - A wildcat and a Southern pig-tailed macaque were recently released back into Ke Go Nature Reserve in Ha Tinh.

These two animals are listed as endangered species of group 1B and 2B in the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List of Threatened Species. They are rarely found in forests in Tay Nguyen.

Earlier, the two had been caged by the locals in Cẩm Trung Town, Cẩm Xuyên Province before being handed to forest rangers.

Hà Tĩnh’s Forest Ranger Department and the environmental police officers have released more than 600 rare animals into the wild including monitor lizards, porcupines, snakes, and turtles.
