The meeting was co-chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Kheng.

The two sides discussed solidifying the unity and all-round co-operation between border provinces and the two countries.
The Cambodian deputy prime minister affirmed that the country will continue to strengthen the collaboration with Vietnam in order to build a co-operation - friendship and peace border area as well as to contribute to the establishment of the ASEAN community at the year-end.
