H’Mong spring festival

The festival takes place following the Lunar New Year to create a space for local people to exchange and preserve their ethnic cultural identity.

The festival kicked off at 10 am and attracted groups of H'mong people in Dien Bien and neighboring provinces.  The two main activities are dancing and a goat competition. The competition has been a local attraction encouraging local goat production and tourism.
