This year's award was given to 9 young people in information technology and communications, medical and pharmaceuticals, biology, the environment and new material technology.
On the same day, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong met the award winners in Hanoi. She praised their efforts and called on them to continue to nurture their passion for scientific research and contribute their youthful energy to national development.
She also called for the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology to offer young people opportunities to participate in science and technology activities that will help develop the country.
