God of Wealth Day pushes gold prices up
VTV.vn - The domestic gold price increased by $40 per ounce on Feb 4th, with SJC’s gold prices surpassing 34.4 US dollars per ounce.
The gold price witnessed its highest increase since before the Tet holiday, and is 20 US dollars higher than the pre-Tet period. Sales began increasing since the middle of the week, with most customers buying gold in the hope of good fortune on what is traditionally known as the day of the God of Wealth..
