VTV.vn - Located about 50 km from Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, Yen Tu is one of Vietnam’s national relic sites.

Its beautiful natural landscape, awe-inspiring scenery, and ancient pagodas attract millions of visitors every year. However, Yên Tử is currently facing the challenge of preserving its value while serving a large influx of visitors.

In the atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, the Yen Tu relic site has welcomed thousands of tourists. Authorities in Quang Ninh Province have made efforts to help tourists experience the best of Yen Tu.

Nguyen Duy Toan, Deputy Head, Yen Tu Relic and National Forest Management Board said: Many plans have been made to ensure that tourists can learn about and appreciate the Yen Tu relic site.

Le Trong Thanh, Deputy Director, Tung Lam Development Company said: The number of tourists visiting Yen Tu keeps increasing. Therefore, we have to upgrade the quality of services to meet the needs of tourists. Many new facilities have been built, such as rest stations and restaurants.

However, over time, some parts of the Yen Tu relic site have been degraded. In order to preserve and promote the relics, authorities and monks plan to fix the damage and restore the site's pristine beauty.

Tourists visit Yen Tu for its beauty and historic values. Besides repairing the relic site, preserving and promoting Yen Tu will also be a challenge for Quang Ninh’s authorities in the future.
