Gia Lai province struggles with droughts

Prolonged droughts have dried many lakes and rivers in Gia Lai Province seriously affecting local agricultural production and daily life.

Đak Pơ District has a total of 20 irrigation works / that are used to water nearly 480 hectares of plantations. However, only two of them now have enough water to operate.

As forecast, this year's rainy season will come later than usual. Soon water shortages will become a more serious problem.
