Last night (February 2), the special Tet edition of Gala Kind Deeds for the Year of the Snake 2025 was officially broadcast. This event truly served as an opportunity for fans of the program to reflect on a year of kind deeds and reconnect with the people featured throughout the past year.
This year, with numerous significant events taking place in 2024, Gala Kind Deeds Tet 2025 presented a vivid picture—recalling the hardships and challenges that the country faced after a turbulent year marked by natural disasters and fires. Most importantly, the spirit of solidarity, compassion, and unwavering faith became the guiding light that helped everyone overcome difficulties, working together to build and nurture a better future.
"Vietnam - A place where you can step out and meet kind-hearted people"
Pushcarts bearing the words "Free shoe repair for everyone" are displayed in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, where most customers are low-income workers, delivery drivers, and street vendors.
Raincoats are neatly arranged in woven baskets on tree branches along the roadside. A sign reads, "If you get caught in the rain, we would like to offer you a raincoat. We wish you a safe journey".
During hospital stays, pediatric patients and their families are provided with nutritious, zero-cost meals that are as comforting as home-cooked food.
A ride-hailing driver wearing a jacket with a message on the back: "Proud to be a child of Vietnam. Free rides for patients and those going to the hospital; people in need (please don't hesitate); and children under 10 years old".
There are many more stories along the roads we travel every day where kindness continues to work miracles. Gala Kind Deeds—Love You So Much, Vietnam beautifully highlights these acts of kindness, these people, and these heartfelt gestures.
