The program was run under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee.
This momentous event was aimed to at spreading the patriotic spirit among all social strata, fostering a love for the homeland, national pride, and revolutionary traditions under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It also highlighted Vietnam’s remarkable socio-economic, cultural, and educational achievements while promoting the preservation of traditional cultural values and tourism development. The program also helped strengthen national unity and ensure the success of the country’s ongoing renewal process.
With a duration of 80 minutes, the special artistic performance was structured as a historical journey of the nation, divided into three acts: The Guiding Light, The Light of Renewal, and The Era of Light.
During the event, audiences enjoyed a selection of patriotic songs, including "The Melody of the Fatherland", "Ode to the Homeland", "The Party is My Life", "The Party’s Flag", "Vietnamese Hearts", "Proud Melody", "The Path We Walk", and "Red Blood, Yellow Skin". Some of these songs were presented in refreshed arrangements, bringing new emotions to the audience.
The powerful renditions of Tien Quan Ca (The Marching Song - Vietnam’s National Anthem) and Doan Ve Quoc Quan (The Returning National Guard) filled the program with pride and deep emotion.
The performance featured renowned artists, including People’s Artist Quoc Hung, singers Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, and Duc Tuan, the Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, and the Symphony Orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
The “95 Years - The Guiding Sun” program provided viewers, especially the younger generation, with a deeper understanding of the Party’s history through artistic narration and documentary footage. Using advanced 3D mapping technology and digital graphics, the show vividly and interactively recounted the nation’s glorious history through the ages.
Through its grand message, “95 Years - The Guiding Light” successfully conveyed patriotic values, national pride, and revolutionary traditions under the Communist Party’s leadership while celebrating Vietnam’s impressive achievements in the new era in economic, social, cultural, and educational domains.
