Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong hosted a reception for the National Secretary of the French Communist Party Pierre Laurent in Hanoi on Tuesday during his attendance in the second joint theory conference.
During talks, Pierre Laurent spoke highly of the deeper bilateral co-operation between the two parties over recent years. The French party leader stressed that the Communist Party of France would do its utmost to further promote the friendship and solidarity between the two parties. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong thanked the Communist Party of France for enhancing understanding between the two countries. The Vietnamese party leader also suggested enhancing the special, traditional relationship between the two parties in a practical manner.
