VTV.vn - The French Ministry of Education has ordered all students aged 11 and above to wear masks when coming to class as schools prepare to start the new school year.

Accordingly, masks will be mandatory in classrooms of secondary schools and higher, and in places where social distance is required. Each school is allowed to set its own rules for after-school activities.

French education officials have also ruled out the possibility of delaying the start of the new school year, which has been proposed by some teacher associations over the concern of a virus resurgence. France has already made wearing masks mandatory in crowded places in certain areas.
