Following the success of the "Connecting Vietnamese Innovative startups in the US and Vietnam" conference held in San Francisco in December last year, a forum that aims to connect domestic and overseas Vietnamese startups was held in Ho Chi Minh City. The event is was co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
The event has attracted roughly 300 participants, including 8 entrepreneurial experts from Vietnam, the US, Canada, and Israel. The event covers 3 main topics: "The first stage of a start-up", "Developing a startup businesses” and “Bringing Vietnamese startups to the world”.
At the forum, Ho Chi Minh city authorities presented the city’s policies to attract creative startups. Businesses are urged to cooperate with universities and vocational training schools to commercialize research projects and develop smart cities. Tomorrow is the final day of the forum.
