On the same day, Chinese President Xi Jinping also sent a congratulatory message to the newly-elected President, affirming that China is willing to maintain strategic dialogues and intensify bilateral cooperation between the two countries. On April 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin cabled a letter to congratulate President Trần Đại Quang, expressing his belief that the new President will address Vietnam’s urgent socio-economic development tasks efficiently.
