Organized in collaboration with Grab and Outbox Consulting, the Cho Lon Kitchen food fair will introduce special dishes of the district’s Cho Lon (Big Market) area, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
Visitors will also be entertained by diverse activities such as cooking demonstrations, music performances and folk games.
The organizers will also launch photo book “Cho Lon Food Story” featuring the top 10 dishes of District 5, such as chicken rice, satay noodle soup, salted steamed chicken, Peking duck, stewed duck noodle soup, shark fin soup, and black sesame sweet soup.
The book also contains stories about local eateries’ owners and famous cooks.
The Cho Lon Kitchen food fair is part of the Cho Lon Food Story project implemented by the district to promote local culinary culture and tourism.
