Flowers abundant on Women’s Day, prices stable

In the days leading up to the special occasion for women, fresh flower markets nationwide have been busier than usual. Previous festivals, including the Lunar new year and Valentine’s Day, have contributed to low prices.

Among the most favoured flowers are roses, orchids and carnations. The average price for a rose stem hovers around 2,000 VND, the same as its usual price.

Lam Dong is the flower hub of the country, with 90% of the province'soutput consumed domestically.
