For the past few days, in areas to the East of Truong Son Mountain Range, including the districts of Dak Glei, Tu Mo Rong and Kon Plong in Kon Tum Province, heavy rains have caused floods and landslides on provincial, inter-communal and inter-village routes.
This has led to several areas being divided and communes being isolated from the district centre. Due to the current situation, Kon Tum Province has sent directives to local authorities of all levels to provide a supply of food, medicine, and essential commodities to residents in isolated communes.
