The event was organised by the Sirenis Viet Company under the supervision of the city's Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Through the activities, the festival brought the art of puppetry closer to the general public in the southern region, as well as international tourists, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural value of the unique traditional art form.
The event enjoyed the participation of many theaters in the Southern and Northern areas, such as the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, the Phương Nam Art Theatre, the Hồ Chí Minh City Opera House, the Kite Theatre, the Hải Phòng Puppetry Theatre, and the Soul Music & Performing Arts Academy.
Over 1,500 children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the city will enjoy the festival and be given scholarships.
