Besides successful exporters like Trung Nguyen, this fair is also attended by newcomers such as Hello 5 and Liberica Gold. This year, coffee producers focus on introducing the newest, cleanest and safest products.
Tran Tan Thien, Chairman of Board of Directors, Hello 5 Coffee Corporation said: We brought to Café Asia 12 of our products; all of them are the best coffee beans in Vietnam. They are clean, safe and with closed production chains from growing to processing and packaging.
“We focus on the beans, to have the best coffee beans with the best processing method so that we can raise the quality while keeping the Vietnamese flavor”, said Han Bao Quyen, Executive Director, Liberica Gold Co.
This is the fourth year Vietnamese firms have attended the coffee and tea fair in Singapore. The fair offers an opportunity for producers to find potential partners, importers and expand markets.
Nguyen Viet Chi, Trade Counsellor, Vietnam Embassy in Singapore said: By attending the fair, businesses will better focus on building their brands and improving the quality of their product packaging. They can also develop new products according to market demand.
It is reported that there will be more Vietnamese representatives attending the tea and coffee making competitions held in the fair. Organisers estimate some 10,000 people will attend the fair.
