VTV.vn - About 100 places around the world will celebrate a Made in Italy event to celebrate the anniversary of different Italian brands.

100 top Italian designers will also introduce their iconic products. Hanoi is one of the cities that will host one of the events.

According to Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni, choosing Hanoi as one of the host cities has showed that the Vietnam-Italy strategic partnership and cooperation have been developing beyond the fields of trade, culture and society, over the past years.

Since the Renaissance period, Italy's fashion products have been well known for the ability to arouse the emotions of whoever is wearing it. Many fashion brands have become famous all over the world.

Barbara Trebitsch, Italian Designer said: Italy is famous for its fashion products since the Italian designers have their own secrets. They are very creative in their own way, and sometimes, they also have the eyes of a photographer.

The mixture of different cultures is one of the factors that makes fashion become global trend. Over the past 4 years, Italy and Vietnam have co-operated on fashion projects.

"I want to focus on how to enhance co-operation in fashion between the two countries, especially to help Vietnamese designers. Italy is known as one of fashion capitals of the world. So we can't miss out on a good chance to co-operate with them on fashion design to bring us better returns on our fashion industry", said Designer Minh Hanh

The event is expected to enhance the knowledge of the history and development of the fashion industry in Italy. This is also a chance for young Vietnamese designers to look for opportunities in fashion and architecture.
