Film on Vietnamese in East Africa to be broadcast on Discovery
VTV.vn - The changes made to African society by Vietnamese IT engineers is the main content of the documentary "Vietnam: Connecting East Asia" announced this morning.

The film is one of the projects by Discovery on exploring the beauty of Vietnamese people, culture, and economy.

Managing Director Ha Thuc Van of Red Bridge Film Services Co Ltd, which represents the film’s producer in Vietnam, said the documentary has contributed to highlighting Vietnam’s role in internet development in East Africa through the investment in infrastructure for 3G and 4G services in the region.

It also shed light on Vietnam’s efforts in developing telecoms technologies in East Africa, from the construction of telecom infrastructure in Tanzania to the launch of mobile services in remote villages in Mozambique, she added.

From the end of this December, the documentary will be broadcast on Discovery's channels in different areas, such as Discovery South East Asia, Discovery South Africa, and Discovery Philippines.
