This statistics has just been announced by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. As of March 20, 493 new projects have been granted with investment certificates with a total registered capital of around 2.9 billion USD. 223 projects were registered to increase investment capital with a total additional registered capital of 3.94 billion US dollars. Compared to the $ 3.4 billion invested in the previous two months, capital inflows into Vietnam are rising rapidly, doubling the number from the previous two months. This rapid increase can be explained easily when we look at the list of FDI projects. Typically, the Samsung Display Vietnam has increased investment capital of $ 2.5 billion in Bac Ninh. The manufacturing sector attracts the most attention from foreign investors, followed by the real estate, wholesale and retail sectors.
