VTV.vn - Thousands of farmers in the south central region currently suffer from a serious loss of crops for the coming Tet holiday.

Many of them have poured all they have into their crops and are now burdened with debts. It is now too late to grow new crops and most of the farmers have no resources left.

Since the middle of this year, farmers in the south central region have prepared flower crops to serve the demand during Tet. Several families farmed about 2000 square meters of flowers, with investments reaching about 3000 US dollars to buy seeds and fertilizer. Now that all is lost, the next several months will be extremely hard for them.

No harvest for the Tet holiday, no sources of profit, no applicable livelihood for the moment; these difficulties can only be resolved when farmers overcome these post-flood consequences.
