Farmers bank on growing lotus & water caltrop during flood season

VTV.vn - Rice farmers in Dong Thap Province, the largest lotus cultivation area in the Mekong Delta, have reaped high profits by planting lotus and water caltrop in their rice fields during the flood season.

This shows that people have actively adapted to difficulties

in agricultural production which means that their harvests are no longer dependent on the weather.
