The F1 model car, carried by a tractor, was paraded through a number of major streets of Hanoi, starting from Vo Chi Cong Street and reaching its terminal in Lang Ha Street.
According to the organising committee, the F1 model car is made of composite material and accurately simulates the actual car version to be officially used in the race, at a 1:1 ratio.
It took nearly four months for the model car to be completed, two months behind the initial plan.
The F1 Vietnam GP 2020 is scheduled to kick off on April 5 at the brand-new 5.565 km Hanoi Street Circuit, the construction of which began last March and is expected to be finalised next month.
The circuit will consist of 23 classic turning corners which inherit and are inspired from the most exciting F1 circuits in the world, such as Germany, Monaco and Japan.
The Vietnam GP will be the third stage of the 2020 F1 season, following the previous two stages in Melbourne (Australia) and Bahrain.
