In the first six months of this year, the export value of fruits and vegetables was estimated at $ 1.7 billion, an increase of 44% over the same period last year.
Up to now, vegetables and fruits of Vietnam have been present in nearly 60 markets around the world. The largest market for Vietnamese fruits and vegetables is China, accounting for 85% of the total value. Other markets include USA, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
These markets, along with the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Thailand, are the most valuable export markets for Vietnamese vegetables and fruits during the past 6 months.
