The exhibition showcases nearly 200 objects and material, which have been collected from several exhibition houses in China where Ho Chi Minh was politically active.
These historical artefacts were brought from the apartment that Late President Ho Chi Minh stayed in Guangxi Province, China. He used the place from 1943 to 1944, after his imprisonment at the Jiang Jieshi Prison. The Ho Chi Minh memorial site in Liuzhou city gave objects related to the late president to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in 2007.
"The artefacts dated back to 1945. They also underline the relationship between Ho Chi Minh and people in Guangxi Province. For instance, a Chinese family kept the blanket that Ho Chi Minh used as a souvenir. They really adored the memory of the president", said Nguyen Thuy Duc, Acting Director, Ho Chi Minh Museum.
The exhibition house in Guangxi Province now showcases a wide range of photographs, materials and objects relating to the late president and other Vietnamese soldiers from the period from 1926 to 1944.
The exhibition is hoped to strengthen bonds between people in Chinese provinces with the late president, and to provide Vietnamese people with information about Uncle Ho’s activities abroad.
