The exhibition opened this morning on Ho Chi Minh city's books street.
Fourteen panels were created from September 2007 to March 2019, with most of the photographs from the late photographer Triệu Đại. He joined the Dien Bien Phu campaign as a reporter under the Front Command. Here, three witnesses shared heroic memories with younger generations about their fierce but glorious day.
Documents and images were drawn from both Vietnamese and French archives as well as interviews with veterans who participated in the historic Dien Bien Phu campaign. The exhibition is in both Vietnamese and French.
