The exhibition is held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Tet General Offensive and Uprising.
Featuring 70 photos and 60 exhibits from the battlefield, the exhibition reflects an important historical period when local people and soldiers in Thua Thien Hue joined commando forces in the offensive and uprising.
Historical artifacts highlight the coordination between local forces and the Vietnamese liberation army.
Notably, commando soldiers played a pivotal role in the 26-day struggle in Thua Thien Hue and paved the way for local people to take control of the region.
The event will run until the end of February.
