Embassies urged to promote Vietnam’s image

He said Vietnam had seen advances in recent years thanks to the work of the country’s diplomatic and representative agencies abroad and an effective foreign information service. According to Thưởng, the resolution of the 12th National Party Congress predicted complicated regional and global situations, which required greater efforts in all areas, including economics, politics, security, defence, and foreign relations. Therefore embassies should help to promote Vietnam’s image to international friends as a primary objective.
