Electronic health insurance to be issued in 2020

The electronic health insurance card will be made of plastic, with the same size of an ATM card.

The card will have a chip that contains all the information on the card holder's health insurance and history of diagnoses and treatments. The health insurance card's authentication mechanism is based on fingerprints and face recognition, so patients do not have to show their ID cards.
