Heavy rain has caused flooding and disrupted transport across Nghe An Province. As floodwaters recede, authorities are repairing damage and cleaning affected areas.

Floodwaters rose over one metre at Khe Da Han Bridge, causing erosion and damaging the road surface. Temporary repairs were completed by early Thursday afternoon, allowing traffic to resume.

Heavy rain also cut off several local roads and sections of national highways. Most have now reopened. In Hoàng Mai Ward, some low-lying areas remain flooded, with water entering Hoang Mai Medical Centre. Authorities and residents are cleaning and disinfecting affected areas as floodwaters recede to reduce the risk of disease outbreaks.
