VTV.vn - Cyril Kongo, whose real name is Cyril Phan, was born in 1969 in Toulouse, France, to a Vietnamese father and French mother.

The self-taught French-Vietnamese artist has come a long way from tagging the streets of Paris to collaborating with luxury names like Hermès, Chanel, Richard Mille, Maserati and La Cornue.

In 2020, Cyril Phan opened his world's only private gallery in Hanoi with the aim of bringing graffiti art to local people as well as reconnecting himself with his fatherland.

Cyril Kongo featured collaborations with Vietnamese artisans are expected to contribute to bringing Vietnamese culture to the world. It will also help him rediscover and fully reconnect with his origins.
