Dong Nai 5 hydropower plant begins operation

Following four years of construction, the plant has been connected to the national grid. The project includes two units with a capacity of 150 MW, and will supply around 616 GWh per year to the national grid. The Dong Nai 5 hydropower plant was funded by VINACOMIN with a total investment of nearly 280 million USD. It is expected to boost socio-economic development by ensuring the stability and security of national energy.
