On this journey, members of the We Are 222 Club visited the Elementary and Secondary school of Binh Thanh, in Hoa Binh Province and held numerous meaningful activities.
The Club’s Pre-event took place in June and received about 500 books, ranging from comic books, reference books to stories, etc.
The Sow A Seed 2023 event offers the strengthening of Reading-Listening-Writing-Speaking skills in English, with a fun, logical curriculum on the topic of “Animal conservation”.
The lesson began with the problem of environmental destruction that brought many species on the verge of endangerment, as well as extinction.
Additionally, many interactive activities were organised to nurture every student’s creativity and teamwork skills.
We Are 222 Club was founded by students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in 2014, to make English more accessible to everyone, especially the youth, through a variety of social activities.
In its 8th season, the Club has organised two main events, including book donation and a free-for-all teaching day, with a bilingual syllabus for the unfortunate.
Besides providing valuable knowledge of English for the kids, book-reading culture and scholarship opportunities are also highly emphasised.
