The exhibition displays around 300 selected documents, books, and articles focusing on three topics, including the Party’s leadership in the revolutionary movement in the 1930-1945 period, the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and achievements of the national construction, protection and development over the past 78 years.
The exhibition aims to highlight the sound leadership of the Party and the role of President Ho Chi Minh in a national revolution in the 1930-1945 period, the Vietnamese people's struggle to gain independence, the historical significance of the August Revolution in 1945, which led to the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The event also seeks to introduce visitors to the remarkable achievements of the country and Hanoi capital in particular, in various fields of politics, economy, culture and society, thereby arousing their patriotism, solidarity and contributions to the national construction and defence.
The exhibition will run until September 4 at Hanoi Library, 47 Ba Trieu Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
