65 years have passed, but the memories of the days of arduous combats still remain intact in every Dien Bien soldier when they return to the historic hill A1. This is one of the locations selected by the Youth Program Department of Vietnam Television shoot reports for the program Dien Bien - Peaceful Rendezvous.
The program combined current experiences and reminiscence of the past, art and analysis and evaluation. “May Rendezvous”, "Historic Rendezvous" and "Peace Rendezvous" are the three parts of the program.
"The title of the program Peaceful Rendezvous derived from the book Dien Bien - Historical Rendezvous by writer Huu Mai. In the 3 chapters of the program, we spend the majority of the time talking about the historical place, a Rendezvous. The place was the theater of may victories of the Vietnamese army and is also home to many bad memories of French veterans, "Head of the Youth Program Department Dang Diem Quynh said about the program.
Dien Bien - Peaceful Rendezvous also features the participation of many artists with special performances in the May 7th Square of Dien Bien province. The audience will feel the magnificence of the historical days through special stage effects prepared by Vietnam Television for this event.
