Born and raised in an environment steeped in Khmer cultural traditions, Manh Hong Nhi cultivated her passion for music from a young age. Determined to pursue a professional career in the arts, she studied at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema. After years of training and overcoming many challenges, the singer has established her own artistic identity through rustic, soulful, and deeply emotional Khmer folk songs.
Beloved not only for her familiar voice on the Tay Ninh Radio and Television Station’s art programs, but also for her simple, approachable image and her pride in her cultural roots, Manh Hong Nhi is a much-loved figure in her community. She shared that her greatest wish is to become a “musical guide”, bringing Khmer melodies closer to audiences across the country and contributing to the preservation and promotion of her people’s rich cultural heritage.
