After inspection and evaluation activities were conducted on lychee consumption in Luc Ngan yesterday morning, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development concluded that Vietnam's agricultural products are qualified to participate in the global value chain. However, more work needs to be done before the locality's fruit industry can make bigger contributions to Vietnam's economic development.
According to the Ministry, with 95% of farmland in Bac Giang comprised of fruit trees, the province plays an important role in developing the fruit industry for northern Vietnam through clean development, and the combined efforts of the processing and tourism industry.
