Experiences in developing the e-government in Quang Ninh province were discussed at a conference on e-government solutions, held this morning in Hanoi. Mai Tien Dung, chairman of the office of the government, along with experts and officials from various ministries and branches participated in the conference.
According to the World Bank, Vietnam has a lot of potential to develop its e-government, due to high Internet usage and the government's determination to simplify administrative procedures. In 2016, the United Nations ranked Vietnam's e-government development index at 89 out of 193 countries.
