Deputy PM meets Venezuelan, Iraqi leaders

VTV.vn - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh held a meeting on September 18 with leaders from Venezuela and Iraq on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Venezuela.

At the event, Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh congratulated Venezuela in successfully organising the 17th Non-Aligned Movement Summit and believed that Venezuela would fulfil the best role of chair in the next term. The two sides underlined their commitment to bolster sustainable agriculture and energy co-operation projects during the period 2015-2018.

Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh also met with Iraq Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Shaiker Al-Jafari. At the meeting, the two leaders agreed to strengthen information exchanges and create more favourable conditions for businesses from the two countries to conduct market research. Vietnam also wanted Iraq to consider more oil and gas exploration and extraction in the country.
