The Vietnamese Party leader highlighted the importance of the LaotianDefence Minister's visit. He said that it will contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive co-operation between Vietnam and Laos. The Laotian defence minister said that the two defence ministries will work more closely to implement the signed protocol for the 2016-2020 period and further promote the significance of bilateral ties among the two countries’ armies. An official reception ceremony was held earlier for the Laotian Defence Minister at the Minister of Defencein Hanoi.
