Danish group helps demine Thua Thien Hue province

The project is funded by the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam and Denmark's AP Moller. The 1.2 million US dollar project will be conducted in 2017 and 2018 to clear explosives left from the war in 10 communes of A Luoi District, in Thua Thien - Hue Prov.

This newly signed memorandum is a continuation of the demining projects implemented by the Danish organization in 2013 in the same province.

The program  has cleared more than 70 hectares of land for local residents for farming and improved the safety of the environment.
