During this event, health experts from ASEAN discussed co-operation and development in the region's health development plan for the 2015-20 period.
Opening the meeting, Vietnamese Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien emphasized Vietnam’s commitment to strive towards a better health in the ASEAN community. As host, Vietnam will speed up the establishment of the new mechanisms in management and co-ordination among 4 health groups approved at the previous ASEAN health ministers’ meeting.
