The flower trading centre is expected to be built on Mimosa Pass, which is 10 km from Dalat City. According to the plan, the facility will have a total area of 16.6 hectares. Once completed, the flower trading centre will have a capacity of 2.5 million flowers and is predicted to facilitate transactions of 550 million flowers per year
Experts at the conference reiterated the importance of Dalat as the flower production hub of the nation, with 2.4 billion flowers per year, which are around 50% of total flower market share. This is considered the region's step towards developing a more sustainable flower industry.
