CPV chief welcomes Shanghai party head

The Vietnamese Party chief expected the visit to promote co-operation between Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City as well as other Vietnamese localities. He asked to enhance the mutual understanding between the leaders of the two parties and promote peace and stability.

Zheng said China valued the comprehensive strategic relationship with Vietnam and pledged to further co-operation between the city and other localities in Vietnam. Later on, the Chinese delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and Hanoi’s Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai.
