A signing ceremony of strategic cooperation and the launching ceremony of the club "Quang Nam Destination - Preserving Indigenous Values" took place in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, on November 26.
Club members include: Dong Giang Sky Gate eco-tourism area (under FVG Group), Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa, Tan Thanh Fishing Village Tourism Community, Thien Minh Group, Silk Group and Ecological tourism Resort Phu Ninh Lake.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vo Phung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Tourism Association said that in the context of the tourism industry being heavily affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, many ideas aiming to revive the Quang Nam's tourism brand has faced difficulties in implementation during recent years.
Quang Nam Tourism Association and businesses operating in the field of tourism are always concerned about contributing to the restoration of Quang Nam's tourism industry, which is rich in natural, historical and cultural values, ready to welcome tourists for the post-COVID-19 period. This is also the origin of the idea for establishing the club "Quang Nam Destination - Preserving Indigenous Values, Vo Phung said.
Participating in the programme, the first member units of the club pledged to work together to create product packages in order to link businesses, create unique tourism products and services, contributing to create a competitive advantage for Quang Nam tourism, and welcoming the wave of tourists back into the new normal period. At the same time, it also affirms towards sustainable tourism activities, preserving the indigenous cultural values of Quang Nam.
In the coming time, the club will continue to admit more members to diversify destinations and professionalize tourism services, contributing to creating sustainable strength for the destination of Quang Nam.
